Description
A fairly simple scene.

The backstory: On 2 January 2033 the SeaQuest is engaged in UEO waters by a number of Macronesian warsubs. SeaQuest is lightly damaged, but suffers some significant injuries to key personell. Most notably Captain Hudson. His injuries and those of several other crewmen are too severe to remain in SeaQuest's sick bay, and SeaQuest is unable to leave her patrol station in case of more attacks. U.E.O.S. Tigershark is dispatched to ferry the wounded to Pearl Harbor for treatment. Her CO at the time, Captain Ian MacLeod, is given orders by the Seceratary General of the U.E.O. to assume command of the SeaQuest.
MacLeod flat out refuses to forceably take command and instead asks Commander Jonathan Ford, SeaQuest's X-O what he thinks. Commander Ford agrees to hand over command.
There is more backstory into the relationship between Ford, the rest of the SeaQuest crew, and Captain MacLeod. I'm not really sure how to write it out yet without maybe going total "Alternate Univers/ overly scifi-fantasy" about it, but I may just have to.
