Booksmart: Ok so this isn't a "personality" trait but it's still key to her character. She likes talking about the things she knows and one of the easiest ways to earn her trust is to listen to her chat about it.
A pinch shy: She's not the biggest fan of people and she's not terribly outgoing so it takes a while for her to get along with you.
Non-confrontational: She often avoids her problems instead of taking them head-on. Sometimes this works, most of the time it doesn't.

History

Rae is your normal student, but maybe she has a hightened interest in learning. Through some connections with her dad she's started an unofficial apprenticeship with the guy who runs the book-binding shop but she can't work there until she's older. Still she spends most of her time outside of school either in the library, at the workshop, or at home, unless her friends come by. She has a couple older brothers as well but they don't get up to many hyjinx. Just a normal life in a quiet town so far. She is still very young and has her whole life ahead of her.
