I'd love to see starting from nothing to creating the base! Do you dynamesh then retopo?

I typically dont start from nothing anymore, I usually have a base mesh which you can see here, honestly i just dont see the point - after several hundred starts from spheres pushing into the same head shape i just remove that initial step and create a tough round head shape straight away - especially when im doing stuff in my own time [link]

i dont recommend that method if your doing a study - its really important to start from nothing. that way you get used to creating forms etc.

i need to study study study.... So even when I'm producing product I still start from scratch so I can try to improve. 'Cause lord knows I need to!

original blob mesh in zbrush, then retopo in 3dcoat then in zbrush again for sculpt.

isnt it easier (or maybe faster) to make blob and retro in maya or does it take the same amount of time?
also, same process with acc. and clothing yes?

She and Balthier stole the show. I wish Square would do more games with them as lead characters this time.
