So Discord is back for good this time. My fangirl vibes are screaming for Discord/Celestia. XD
I liked this episode so much and couldn't avoid drawing a few thoughts I had while watching it.
First; I didn't buy the "let's reform Discord and use his magic for good" from Celestia, so I made a rough sketch of what was the real reason behind all that.
Second; seriously that introduction with the ponies wondering where Flutterhy and Applejack were... my shipper mind trailed far and because I kind of ship Applejack and Fluttershy XD
And third; Fluttershy and Discord being friends? Why the heck not~

Hey it's a legit worry! EVERYONE loves Applejack! There was that whole episode and celebration dedicated to laying it out, after all! I'd run Dashie! RUN TO SAVE YOUR FLUTTERSHY! XD I can just imagine an AU where when Dashie hears where Fluttershy is she's all like, "NO! I won't let that tramp get her hands on my Fluttershy!"
Twilight hears her mutters and glares at her, poking her hoof to Dash's shoulder. "HEY! My AJ is NOT a tramp! You take that back!"
"No!" Rainbowdash would growl. "She's trying to lay her hands all over my sweet, innocent flower right now as we speak!"
"Oh would you---"
"Wait!" Pinkie would get in between them. And at first it looks as if she did just because she wanted to break up the fight. But then she would turn quietly to Twilight, lift an eyebrow and ask, "Twilight? When did you and AJ start dating?"
Caught off-guard, Twilight would half flame up and shutter, "W-what? What're you talking about?"
"Well, you just said 'YOUR AJ', not 'ours'." Pinkie would ask innocently.
"W-what? W-what? N-no, you see... umm..." Twilight looks nervously between the both of them. Then goes for it and grabs onto Dash, half teleporting already, "Let's go rescue Ap---I mean Fluttershy ok?"
"Wait, Twilight, are you real---"
LOL One sided unconfessed AppleTwi! XD That came out of nowhere.

1. The Celestia & Discord portion was amusing. Since Discord is voiced by John DeLancie, and based of DeLancie's iconic role as Star Trek:TNG's "Q", I cannot help but see their relationship more like Discord being "Q" to Celestia's Picard 
2. The "Real friends never leave you behind" portion really touched me. The look of confounded wonder on Discord's face and the way Fluttershy takes him by the wrist really conveys a lot of emotional impact.
3. The strip of Rainbow Dash's jealous imagination was makes me grin every time I see it. The "shoujo ai" panel with AppleJack & Fluttershy (nice touch with the extra eyelashes too and roses too, very appropriate & accurate to shoujo ai manga), followed by Rainbow's "nooooooooooo" moment makes the gag perfect. I try to avoid 'shipping (in general), but you sell your Rainbow & Fluttershy 'ship very well. (I also try to avoid portmanteau'x like "FlutterDash" too, they make my eyes twitch)

Sometimes I do use them, in a few drawings I require the guidelines when I'm in doubt about the characters poses.

Oh, and I'm loving the classic "sparkly flower background" you often find in yuri and yaoi works! At least, I think you do. I actually haven't read any yaoi. Not really my thing. I haven't even read all that much yuri either.
