Description
The Prisons of Nexus City are filled with the worst offenders known to nexus city history, as well as violent offenders and other such offenders as well as persons in jail for minor offenses that have been sentenced to time in prison, while these facilities have many safeguards against criminals that will try to find a way to escape prison, there is still a need for officers that can control these prisoners and operate the facilities on a daily basis, including control consoles, etc. The NCPD has a specific division set to control these facilities as well as the persons who reside within their walls. Officers that are apart of this divisions are very well trained in prison operations, close-quarters less-lethal takedowns and other such operations, personnel of rank and authority are not only designated by rank, but by a specialty tabs that are given to them upon graduation from the primary division academy or through promotion and graduation of specialty leadership training schools that the city pays for. These officers are also equipped with a pulse-like less-lethal sidearm type weapon that allows officers to quickly subdue a prisoner who is acting out and when it is pulled out, a prisoner who is not willing to listen to commands will almost 95% of the time listen to the officer's commands. These weapons, while not always working or effective at controlling certain prisoners are still used and respected by the officers that choose to carry them on their person.
