I wanted to give you guys a peak at the process a little bit as we start revving up towards the sprites and soon a playable demo!

We want to give our scenes a sense of dynamic emotion. So once the script was complete and edited, my editor and I worked to go through the chapters line by line and try to figure out the right emotions that should be portrayed in the scenes. Then I went and compiled a list much like this one of references of all those emotions, and from here I can begin to draw the principle character sprites using these references. I hope that made some kind of sense . Hopefully soon it will become more clear. I like being able to share my process a little bit with all of you!
