It wasn't long before Fox and Krystal meet the female Lucario at her throne.

???; Greetings. Welcome to Isireon.

Fox: Thank you. I am am Fox McCloud and this is my wife, Krystal.

???: Please to meet you. My name is Luka.

Krystal: Good to meet you, Luka. Tell us, what was this place?

Luka: Isireon was a civilization established centuries ago. I don't know of its origins but I have reason to believe that this was a civilization based on advanced technology and the the steampunk era.

Fox: And you have lived here all this time.

Luka: Actually, it's more like a refuge to me. I found this place to be a sanctuary for me.

Fox: What caused you to seek refuge?

Luka: A long time ago when I was a Riulo, I was subjected to some experiments in gene splicing. My DNA was spliced with human genes.

Krystal: That sounds like an all too familiar scenario. What happened?

Luka: As you can see when I evolved, I somehow became more "developed". It's strange for a Pokemon to suddenly have human-like features. So one night I ran off from the lab. I always fear that the scientists would be looking for me.

Fox: You're not alone, Luka. We have members in our crew that would fall under the same category as you.

Luka: There are others?

Krystal: Yes, there are some who have powers of certain Pokemon that resemble me. In one even has the features of a Pokemon.

Fox: You must mean Shockora. She has the ears and tail of a Raichu.

Luka: I'm amazed. I thought I was the only one subjected to such strange science.

Krystal: Would you like to come with us, Luka? It must be lonely being here by yourself.

Luka; It would be nice to have friends. But I don't know if I can fit with your group.

Fox: Well, we also have a Lucario on our crew. A male one to be exact.

Luka: Really? Oh, I want to meet him!

Krystal: I think you struck a nerve, Fox.

Fox: Well, we'll have crew members come here to stake a claim and hopefully learn about Isireon. Perhaps there's an archive here that could tell us more about the place.

Luka: There are some interesting things here. I'll gather a few before going with you.

Krystal: Welcome to Starfox Earth, Luka. We'll make you feel right at home.
