Oh boy did this take me awhile but i'm so happy this is done. x-xI've wanted to draw something changeling related since they showed up at the end
of season 2 and then this happened. Great way to take my mind of this stressful as
hell week.
I absolutely love the concept of either corrupted or alternate universe versions of the
main characters in any series I watch so this was very fun to work on. c:
I had the hardest time making their colors work but, decided to use their main body
colors for the hair and I think it looks pretty nice. Overall it was a fun experiment and
I hope you guys enjoy. Also bonus angel bunny as a changeling because why not lol.

Honestly I didn't really consider a back story since I wanted to leave
it open for interpretation. If people want to use this concept for a
story though I would be more then happy to see someone do it. c:

Well I have a couple of ideas in mind (they work perfectly for something funny like the style of the show and even for something more mature, at least in my head). I don't know if I'll have the time to write it or draw it or both but I thank you for leaving it open for anyone to work on them.

Thanks. I went for the whole "alternate universe, alternate look" thing, but in retrospect just converting the main six into changelings would have been a better idea.

I completely agree, it helps differentiate them as well since
a lot of the main characters have very similar hair colors.

To expand on my all too brief comment, there is just so much personality in every one of these that makes each of them pop. Iβll tell you what comes to mind. I can see them still being the Elements of Harmony, just warped to be more in line with hive morality instead of just polar opposites ala Discord. To try and fit square pegs into round holes here;
Apple-Worm is the Element of Truth. She embodies reality unfiltered by imagination, as a proper hiveling should view it. Apple-Worm is not only honest, but frank about the facts of life and insultingly blunt about her observation on any given subject. She is a hard worker who replaces creativity with strong muscles and a nasty bite.
Candy-Cloy is the Element of Noise. The embodiment of the buzz and seeming chaos of a hive, she is fearless as any changeling should be and has a voracious appetite representing a hiveβs constant need for expansion. A cackling trickster, she is fond of pulling foul pranks on those she doesn't care for. Lacking in self preservation, she doesn't particularly care how things turn out or who is in charge as long as it isn't boring.
Night-Fall is the Element of Will. The embodiment of the crushing authority of the hive-mind, she represents the miraculous consciousness and intelligence which binds the hive together. Night-Fall is an erudite thirsting for knowledge, but also desires power and schemes to be Queen.
Vanity is the Element of Sacrifice. She is the embodiment of the inherent selflessness that goes into living in a hive. Vanity is, of course, vain and openly arrogant, believing herself the changeling most in likeness to the Queen and therefore more cultured and smarter than everyone else (including Night-Fall) by virtue. She'll frequently give away whatever she has just to prove she still better than everyone without it.
Shiver-Shy is the element of Submission. She is the embodiment of conformance and non-resistance to authority. Hers is a caring soul, but perhaps a bit misplaced is her affection. Shiver-Shy will put the comfort and safety of every changeling-beast before sapient changelings in any given situation. She is often times browbeaten into joining otherβs escapades and will then act as the escape goat when things go wrong.
Blue-Blitz is the Element of Jingoism. She is the embodiment of loyalty to the Queen and the belief in the sovereign right of the hive. Still, she is aggressive and prideful of her own abilities. Blue-Blitz will openly challenge anyone who contests her dominance and will openly cheat at every opportunity. She doesn't see a contradiction in this because she is proud of her cleverness in recognizing the opportunity and believes its winner-take-all.
Together, these fair-weather friends form the Elements of Unity and protect the hive from all that threaten it.

An alternate universe. Though, I can't say the origin of the stories matters much unless it is a grand scheme by Chrysalis and they will eventually confront the mane six. Having an interesting dynamic with their doppelganger status at that point.

I really enjoyed reading all of those descriptions and I think it would be the basis

The rainbow dash Changeling needs work or be redone.
Its my thoughts on here everyone is good but RD doesn't feel like RD to me without some rainbow in Her Mane and Tail the blu part of her body though should stay blue

I unfortunately won't be doing a redo as I feel nothing is wrong with the blue.
I have my reasons though, I've seen a vector of a normal changeling with rainbow's
hair colors and it doesn't look that good nor changeling-like. So I went with a
monochrome blue so she would at least still have stripes in here hair only blue.
It's all about sticking to a theme which is what I did. But thank you for your
critique, I appreciate it. c:

What interests me most about this drawing (besides the concept of changeling!Angel bunny) is that you chose their body colors for the manes and tails, not necessarily what their mane colors actually are. And also that fangs do not detract from how cute Pinkie's smile and Fluttershy in general are.
