Oh boy did this take me awhile but i'm so happy this is done. x-xI've wanted to draw something changeling related since they showed up at the end
of season 2 and then this happened. Great way to take my mind of this stressful as
hell week.
I absolutely love the concept of either corrupted or alternate universe versions of the
main characters in any series I watch so this was very fun to work on. c:
I had the hardest time making their colors work but, decided to use their main body
colors for the hair and I think it looks pretty nice. Overall it was a fun experiment and
I hope you guys enjoy. Also bonus angel bunny as a changeling because why not lol.

Really awesome artwork on these. My only complaint is that it's a little awkward to view, maybe you should've broken it up into individual images or compose all the characters in some other formation than a straight horizontal line. Having to scroll left and right kinda hinders the viewing experience of these otherwise beautiful images, is all I'm saying.

I unfortunately must disagree with breaking them up into
individual images as that would have taken away from the
concept of a group image with the mane 6. I know it's a
rather annoying format with DA but, I felt it was the best
possible way of portraying them all at once. ):
Luckily many people have taken it upon themselves to rearrange
them in a viewing format they prefer which I am totally fine with.

I especially approve of the more neutral colored Changeling!Rarity. Also, very nice work on Rainbow's mane. All blue, and yet not. Very nice.
Even Applejack's hat has holes. Consistency! I like it! And yet, Twilight is best changeling. It's the eyes, man.

I think Rarity definitely came out as one of the best of the group.
Yeah, I didn't want to make her hair straight up rainbow since it
would look silly so I went with a monochrome blue and it worked
out great. c:

Yep! I think it brings something fun and dangerous to a main character when they're

Wow! Their personalities come out so vividly even when they look like this. For some reason in particular, I can't get over Twilights' eyelashes. Very strange thing to latch onto. Also, the limited palettes look great, too.
I have to wonder how you get those super thin, super smooth lines, too. Mine always end up blotchy and shaky even with SAI's stabilizer, and I have to make them quite thick!

My method is working in very large file sizes and I do most of my brush strokes in one stroke. Any unclean edges or connecting points get cleaned up carefully with the eraser and that's pretty much how I do it. I also usually work between a 3-5 pt pixel brush size. (:
