Headcanon time!So I know TJM would have had Arnold returning Helga's feelings, and while that is magnificent and super cute, I don't know what 9 year olds are supposed to do with that.
Arnold and Helga would begin to spend time together and become really close friends. This is them around 11 - 12 years old just dicking around. Probably a good few years away from really acting like a couple, and probably not crystal clear on exactly what their status is. But hey, they're still kids.
I imagine that Helga brings out Arnold's fun side, and Arnold's zen nature rubs off on Helga. That little arm punch is the most violent she's been in a while and he's quite proud~

Although I'D LOVE to see them together even as kids, I have to say... I agree, I mean If I saw a real 9 year-old couple dating, I'd tell them you're TOO young to have boyfriend/girlfriend, because I've never like to hear little kids saying "I have a girlfriend/boyfriend" because they're too young so, first of all, they should enjoy their childhood, with games, friends and school xD but arnold and helga just don't look like 9 year old kids...

I heard that Arnold and Helga will be dating after TJM and then broke up for Arnold's hormones. But they'll continue being friends and later comes "The Patakis" serie
