Description Its amazing how over the years, oil paintings last & still possess tints which were created through the blending pigments that the artist mixed himself.

Taken from the home of my grandfather as an assignment intended for his autobiography, I am still fascinated how oil paints lasts through generations & how photography can be used to preserve at least parts of its beauty and at the same time its essence of color by means of using light as the medium for a replica.
