A late afternoon at the lake, watching the colors dance in the sun*full view recommended*
edited : 6-5-07 for once I thought the original submission was too dark and I need a more colorful print for a local place.

Another stunning shot. I like landscapes like this because the look almost completely natural until you see the social intevention. In this case the bench. The bench tells us that none of this is really natural, it's all shaped by man for the pleasure of man.

Thank you Pete. A little info on this place, it is not that much man made. It was a privately owned land of 260 acres conatining a 50 acres lake. Years ago it was donated to the city and there was some restrictions that the place could not be developed or to much butchered up. The city does not even allow outsiders in that park, you have to be a resident here to even visit it . But yes it is definately a pleasure to be there especially during the week when not many people are around. Thanks again Pete
