This is a portrait ive been working on the last few weeks now and then.. His name is Paddy. He was the best dog in the world.. But he had to be put down just before Christmas.. He was an absolute fighter and we loved him. He was only 9 1/2 though.. so young but he had a heart problem.. I still miss him now and before i wouldnt have been able to paint him without crying but now i am okay and decided it was time to paint him.. Its a present for my brother as Paddy was everything to him. Still alot of work to go

Thank you so much, he was a very gentle dog.. but he was also a right handful! As most Springers are, but i managed to catch a photo of him looking very gentle and a little lost so decided to paint it
