COMMENTARY

I always had this idea of an alternate timeline where successful privatization of the armed forces in the 1990's had rendered government-funded military organizations severely undermanned or disintegrated altogether. The disbandment of the UN around the same time period had emboldened private military companies to grow unhindered, allowing them to prosper to the point where mainstream societies find their presence an everyday norm. The increasing breakout of low-intensity conflicts and absence of proper standing armies meant there's a huge and lucrative gap to be filled in by corporate-run 'peacekeeping organizations'. Thus, private military academies were introduced in late 2000's as an alternative academic institution to conventional high schools, with the intent of creating a professional workforce ready to capitalize on a trillion dollar industry from the time of their enrolment and after reaching graduation age.

This is the world where my OCs grow up and live in, and goddamn I need to give them names.

It's downright outlandish, but isn't a fictitious world built out of overstretched unrealism populated by unrealistic looking gooey-eyed schoolgirls with guns the whole point of having an imagination?

On a sidenote, I forgot to adjust the index finger of the pink twintail girl to go into the AK74's trigger. Oh well.
