Sooo... Von Hertzen Brothers are one of my favorite bands and for me, one of the best tracks off the new album is "Flowers and Rust" (link to Youtube for the music video). Go listen to it right now! Gaaaah love this song too much!!
Anyway, it was the inspiration for this piece. Not much to describe about it, it's all pretty self explanatory if you listen to the lyrics. Deranged female - check, flowers - check, rust - check.

I really hope you like it... and please, feel free to point out what could be improved. I'm still at the very beginning and learning all the time.
Done in GIMP with an Aiptek tablet.

I used these amazing brushes for the rusty stuff.

The pose reference was an ancient pic of myself that I once took for an art project. Apart from that, no references were used for the crazy rusty lady.
