. He wanted me draw for his Miku and after I researched, I realized why Miku keeps holding a leek? I don't know why, just a little wondering

This might be one of the most beautiful Miku drawings I've seen the detail is so well done and flows so well, and you really make the dull colors and gray scale work

That is such an awesome picture...wow I'm so jealous of you because I'll never be that good....
(Miku doesn't hold leeks by the way they are actually spring/welsh onions. She holds them due to a meme with Hachune Miku waving them around. That's what started the Item War where people were obsessed with giving vocaloids character items...I hope that was helpful!)

The song that made Miku very popular was a cover of Leek Spin. Every Vocaloid has an 'item'. Kaito's is ice cream, Meiko's is sake, Rin's is oranges, Len's is banana's, Gakupo's is eggplants, etc.
