Me as Dark Princess Zelda from Legend of Zelda (Twilight princess/ SSBB) with ~the--Draco as Dark Link.Both cosplays are selfmade, including sword and armor.

The sword originally was a LARP-sword, as can be bought in a LARP shop or online. I removed the crossguard and the pommel and replaced them with a handmade construction containing a skeleton made of foam material board and a coating made of air hardening modelling material.
The arm shield is made of several layers of sponge rubber. It holds to the arm via two straps of artificial leather.
The chain armor simply contains of a silvery shining textile fabric which is made like a netting wire. Can be found in a drapery store.
Hope, you can understand what I'm trying to explain. ^^° I'm lacking of the right vocabulary for the materials.
