The sun was setting, the pink sky began to mix with the shades of the cherry blossoms and it got hard to see the difference. The sky looked amazing, beautiful. He took my hand and led me to the car, "Where are we going?" His smile reached his eyes and he winked at me. I felt a little uneasy, unknowing of his plan. His voice chimed along with the music, "You are what you love, not who loves you." I felt my whole body grow warm.
A restaurant? I giggled and looked at him, "Food?" Before I got my answer he was out the car and on his way to open my door. His hand reached for mine, and I placed my hand in his and almost killed myself trying not to melt.
Slurping noodles didn't make me look very lady like but it made my childlike heart happy' I'm not changing myself for anyone. I am who I am and I love it. Out of the blue he was on one knee in front of me, holding my left hand in his. My breathing is getting faster, as is my heartbeat. My body is suddenly numb; have my feet left the ground? Everything feels unreal. A dream?
He pulls a box from his jacket, a small black fuzzy box. Holds it in his right hand as if it were a plate, his smile gleaming. His eyes slightly as scared as I feel. He opens the box, and his lips begin to part. "Will you marry me?"
