Is it the texts from the screen of my cellular? Or perhaps the voice coming out of the speakers of my phone. Maybe the loud TV in the background, I'll never know. But what I do know is at this moment I will cherish my past. Everything he and I had been through together, it's over. I'm ready. The fingerprints I'd hope to someday touch with mine every day for the rest of my life will be no more but a memory. For I have finally found it within myself, found it to move along. The ring now placed on my left ring finger symbolizes that of a new woman. A woman whom has discovered a new side of herself.
Out of my comfort zone, to discover more. An art academy awaits me, and he has agreed to be with me on my journey. The present isn't as easy to cherish because as of now we are merely going along with fate. I can do so much with my future, anything in fields of art. My broad expansion lay proof to those who doubt me. For now I must dream big to take a leap from comfort to trying.

But now in these past few moments, I've realized how much I've grown over the years. And I think I'm ready to say goodbye to this town, I might come back. Might being a very strong word in my opinion. I won't be like my family, I will not get stuck here as they did. Saying goodbye to childhood of course means putting away childish things, I'm glad I keep several memory boxes. I might take them with me seeing as I love looking back.
I have found my one, my only. The one who keeps me warms at night, fingers intwined along with legs. My head against his chest listening to his beating heart. If things go the way we'd like while we're stuck here in this town I will be his housewife. Cook, clean, I'll do it all for my man. The one who never denies me anything, even if it seems impossible. His fingerprints and mine shall join everyday with hand fastening<3
