You should read the ghost in the shell original manga. She is very loud, abrasive and prone to violent outburst as well as jokes (one of their first lines is saying to the section 9 she bring them to the strip club after all...). The films and the later series made her completely different

As far as I remember, Kusanagi doesn't need, but can have normal food alright. Batou drinks all the time and eats at least sometimes.

In the series there were mentions of food imitations, suited for cyborg's needs. So i kinda imagined it was one of these places.
