You’re like a song within a nightmare
A thought within a scream
Karith, my Dragonborn and my spouse's Zephaniah. He’s had trouble sleeping ever since he was killed by a Pit Fiend, but then resurrected by Karith with the help of a priest. His temporary death was filled with ten year’s worth of torture while his soul had been trapped by the Pit Fiend in his realm. While Karith may be lighthearted and a goofball at times, she takes her oath of keeping her friend safe very seriously. That may as well include nights where the Druid is much too tired after being haunted by his experience.
That song’s one I kept listening to while drawing this. It seemed fitting.
