Black/white colored pencil & spray paint on Canson with a slab of clay behind it. 9.75" x 12.25"

This is by far not my greatest executed work, but that wasn't really the goal either. I did the drawing quickly just so that I'd have something to experiment with. I made a thin slab of clay, bonded the paper to it, and then manipulated the clay by pushing/pressing from the front and back so that they paper would have a 3d quality to it. I learned a lot about how Canson paper deals with water and bonding and it's capabilities. It looks much cooler in person cause you can see the 3d quality. Not sure if I'll pursue this more, it's not cheap and it's hard to manipulate. Might try canvas or different paper someday, Canson is not built for this type of work.
