Guan Ping armor scales Work-in-Progress 1Construction pictures of Guan Ping (DW6)'s 3-pointed star scales on his vambraces, tassets and butt plate.
- Radius of a regular scale: 4.0 cm
- Radius of a vambrace scale: 2.7 cm
Made with white craft foam!
Drawn with a ballpen and metal ruler, cut with a box-cutter. I used a "model" to trace the outlines on the foam sheets. The scales will be painted with Gold-colored spray paint, after binding them with iron wire "staples".I'll use gluestick glue to temporarily hold the scales. This is to prevent them from slipping when "stapling" them with iron wire.
This is the 2nd time I'm using craft foam for a part of this costume. The first part was the "cup" over the red hair-ribbons of my Blue Dragon Ji.
