Ugh. Watching this show weekly even with someone else to watch it with, was torture. Besides Eternals, this is my least favorite thing in Marvel Phase Four. The reason why this show is so bad is because it's a generic HIGHSCHOOL SUPERHERO SHOW. Marvel's "Henry Danger" if you will. Not because of the theme, but because of the cinematic direction. The humor is cringeworthy and not funny. This show has many predictable tropes with this boring, quirky main character becoming Ms. Marvel. The first episode is ok? And that's being generous, but the story you can understand and it is just the pilot. But as the show goes on not only does it get more generic, but also more confusing and a messier narrative. Some scenes dragged on too long, and when the show went to Pakistan lots of arcs were either forgotten, or wrapped up abruptly and felt rushed. The finale is laughably bad with lots of dumb story decisions but at least there was maybe a thing or two I did like from it. But episode 3… it was directionless. Nothing happened in it, and yet so much was going on, it was all over the place.

Overall this show is AWFUL. A very, very poor origin story. I hope this is the worst marvel shows can get on Disney plus because yeesh, that was painful.
