Possibly the most well-known of the deities of this world is Ruby. She is taller than the tallest trees, taller than most of the foothills to - and some of the mountains of - the northern mountain range. Giant as she is, she is equally as clumsy. You see, it’s hard to use only 8 of your legs to walk with the other 16 tied up in an elephant costume. Caretaker and guardian of all critters big and small, she is a gentle beast - albeit with a horrific form. She wears a silken elephant costume over her body so she can be met with peace and comfort rather than fear and violence from the humans who would do her harm should they see her true face.

Underneath her costume, the gentle beast is a writing mass of 24 tentacle-like legs, a gaping maw, and an opening between her pure-white eyes full of teeth.

Dangerous as she looks, she means harm to no person or creature. After all, it’s her job to make sure living creatures are taken care of.
