Fun commish from awhile back - man, I loved the HELL outta' Lunar: Silver Star Story. I missed it on Sega CD, of course, but picked it up via PSX years later thanks to Working Designs' remake. Good times.

I was surprised to poke through and see Lunar art :>. You have an interesting style.
It's unfortunate that you missed the Sega CD version of Lunar The Silver Star. I'm sure I'm somewhere in the minority when I say I hated and couldn't stand to play the remake... Love the new songs, Tsubasa (Opening theme) and the Boat Song but hated that it was no longer original with most of the rest of its music.

Dude... I haven't played that game in YEARS! The anime intos and outros were kool. I like how simple yet not so simple the shading is. Those shadows are kool too.. gives the picture alot of motion.

Wow, Lunar fanart is really rare. I loved those games, and the game was ahead of it's time. It's a shame what happened to the series when the first true new Lunar came out on DS in 2005 (took everything I liked out of the series), in fact I'm not even sure it's Lunar. Seriously, the combat sucked (no planing or stategy), you lost life while running (granted, you would get tired, but you wouldn't get wounded), large dungeons (which draged on due to running would make you lose life) and you had to chose between gaining experience or getting items in battle (made customising characters hard). Well, lets hope we'll see a new one some day that deserves the name Lunar. Also, nice picture, definatly a fave.

I dunno. Lunar had that cliche 80's anime feel to it and by that point in time I was fed up with clunky turnbased combat systems...it kinda put me to sleep...I never finished it.

Awwl this is awesome! I love Null haha and I love his comments in the game. I played it on the PSX, but I always had people reminise on me about how they played it on the Sega Saturn. I think the Lunar series has the most hardest dungeons.. out of all the rpgs I played I remember having to lvl up constantly.
