A couple days ago I dug out the crappy low res art scans Archie keeps on their website as a "Coloring Book." I've been a bit too much of a Photoshopping whore lately, and working at a crappy, limited low res forces you back to basics in a way. So yeah, tried this. One of a couple - there are some more they had on their website that I'd like to color sometime when I get the chance. Some really old covers and stuff, like the Sonic and Knux ish and this wicked Enerjak front. But I'll try that out later.
EDIT: Oh yeah, duh. The original lineart was done by Patrick SPAZiante. But, shit, if you're checking out this scrap it's pro'lly 'cause your a Sonic fan. And I don't think there's a Sonic fan alive that doesn't know the mad lines of "Spaz."

I miss SPAZ but it was awesome that he came for the 200th issue of the comic. Would have to say my fav coverart done by him would be the issue were Sonic is mechanized into Mecha Sonic (especially since he did the artwork for that issue)

This looks amazing!! Especially the way that you colored Tails. It looks like he could fly right out of the picture! And i am loving the way that you colored Sonic and the background! It makes them look dignified!! GREAT JOB!!

Spaz is awesome. One of the best Archie Sonic comic artists yet. Great coloring job, I see you added shading and everything, my coloring of that pic was just lame single-shaded stuff. XD

That's some really neat colouring work there! Especially on the Little Planet (assuming that's what it is? x3). Tails looks simply gorgeous! Beautifully done ;3 This shouldn't be a Scrap IMO. Needs to be seen more :0
