Er... Well, you know, I haven't had anything really NEW new done in awhile, what with having to refit all the computer tech from August's debacle. I mean, it's not that it hasn't been an artful month or anything, just that I didn't have a scanner for half of it and I've been busy with projects and everything. You know.This is old. Like, January old. The lines are absolute shit, the coloring is pretty lackluster. It was nine months ago, though. And I felt it was so shit-tacular looking then, I didn't bother to post it up. Age doesn't make it any better.
BUT, I was talking with Drew Edwards (creator and writer of the Halloween Man comics) at A-Fest earlier this month, and had the original line-art for this there. We had many-a-laugh at the expense of good ol' NFL SuperPro here for the rest of the con, which made me want to dredge up this ol' thing.

ha ha I remember him thats what really sad..Yes I believe in my comic he was fighting a group of white guys dressed in ceremonial indian masks trying to kick native americans off their land for the evil gambling group. So so sad...I love this pic and I think this would a great rebirth

I like the colors used on the football dude. Not sure if it's official football coloring since I know jack about football, but the colors are all eye candy.

Frankly, I've always thought that the idea of drawing a comic about a pro athelete as a superhero is stupid. Mind you, I've never actually read such things, but the cover shots of their uniforms reworked like superhero costumes strikes me as ridiculous.
To be fair though, you made even that goofy bastard look almost cool. I'd say that's a positive thing.
