Description
Riding through the gates of Helm's Deep, I looked around ”dorth- hi” Legolas said softly, and I frowned at him ”whui?” I asked softly, looking to Gimli who told Eowyn something, something that made all colour leave her face, and dispair and shock taint it, and I quickly knew what has been told to her. Legolas carefully got down from his horse, and I were about to follow, when he instead of the ground, caught me, and I looked at him surprised at confused as he held me bridal style “Legolas, Im am okaui, reallui” I smiled softly, Legolas just shaking his head gently “dab- nin na ech- sure in nin own té” he whispered low, his voice caring and compasionate, far beyond what I had ever experienced, and I nodded gently, allowing him to take me further into the city and into the fortress where the rest went, including the King. As we went inside, Legolas sat me down on a bench by a table “does it hurt anywhere?” he asked gently as he kneeled down by me, looking concerned up at me “Legolas I told you I-” I were cut off by his gaze, as it only made it worse that I wanted him to forget my wounds, and I sighed, nodding sligtly “my back hurts... slightly, it's nothing, really-” yet again Legolas cut me off, getting up he sat down besides me, gently turning my body so my back faced him “where?” he asked calmly, and I hesiated slightly, reaching back I gently grabbed his hand in mine, leading it to the lower part of my left shoulder, and he nodded, yet when I slowly removed my hand he gently took my hand in his this time, holding it for a while over the area that hurt, while he mumbled an Elvish healing chant, and I felt the pain slowly leave my body. I let out a small sigh of relief, and as I did, I felt his thumb gently stroke my hand, and I felt everything dark vanish, all sorrow and tensity left the hall, and I gently leaned my head against his touch, my heart racing and skipping beats as I felt complete, at least, that were until I looked to Eowyn who watched silently, a look of pain on her face, and I instantly knew of the love she had for Aragorn, and how this reminded her of what she now could never have. Regret filled my face as I pulled my hand from Legolas' touch, much to his dismay, and surprise, and that is when he noticed the regretful look of Eowyn, and quickly understood as Eowyn quickly left “díhen- nin, Hiril Vuin, ha was ú-...” Legolas barely finished his sentence before cutting himself off, and I turned, looking at him with a frown “baw ha's... ha's okaui...” I whispered low “cin helped nin.. whui ceri- cin baur nin na díhen- cin an i?” I asked with a small frown, and it were as if Legolas' regretful look vanished, turning into a kind warm one “(Y/N) I have been meaning to tell you something... I-” Legolas started but were shut off by Gimli grunting as he walked towards us, mumbling something, he then stopped, looking at us “oh, you two lads can relax? Well that's something new” Gimli said in his usual manner, which earned a small chuckle from me, and a soft smile from Legolas “anyway, how are you doing lad?” Gimli frowned at me, and my smiel grew softer “just fine, Legolas has helped out quite a bit in that manner” I looked to Legolas who's eyes locked onto mine, for what seemed like an enternity, when in reality it were barely two seconds, and I looked back at Gimli, Legolas' eyes staying on me for a few seconds longer before looking to Gimli as well “right, well, I uh... want some food?” Gimli asked awkwardly as he could feel that he had in fact interupted something, and I shook my head gently “I will be quite alright” Gimli nodded, but Legolas just shook his head “you are not, please eat, (Y/N)” Legolas protested, getting up and walking over to where food were being delivered to the soldiers who had returned from the battle on our way to Helm's Deep, walking back shortly after with a bowl of soup and a piece of bread and a spoon, putting it down on the table and frowning slightly at me, Gimli nodding and taking his leave. I let out a soft scoff, looking to the food before to him, and without telling, he kne what I wished, so he sat down besides me, and I gently pushed the bread over to him, which he scoffed lightly, taking a bite out of as I began eating the soup, humming low “you know, it's not as bad as one would think” I said with a joking smile as I looked to him, and he chuckled low “neither are you” he said under his breath once I had looked away, and ressumed eating my soup.Dorth- hi – Stay here
