In an exercise to understand her team better, Nikki is dressing up in their gear and taking their weapon for a test drive. Nikki just up and decided to take a first hand, and in-depth analysis on their play styles just by seeing what it's like to fight as if she was that person. Kinda like Double Soul in Mega Man Battle Network 4-6.

This is Koinku's Style. A very special oriented, anchor on the battlefield. From Walleye Warehouse to Moray Towers, a stage I don't like even as a charger main, Koinku will be dishing out as many Inkstike attacks as possible, especially since she rocks 3 Special Charge Up mains constantly. But her fun doesn't stop there.

The Splash wall is a much more viable special than I originally thought it was, as it brings an inkvasion to a dead halt unless they pop a bubbler or Kraken, but it will be demolished quickly by a Hydra... Anyway, first time I played like this, I splatted someone in possibly the most cheesy way possible just as the round ended.

And finally the Heavy Splatling itself. IT'S HEAVY! And just rains down the Ink in even some of the most congested areas. It has a blatant similarity to chargers, but where chargers have the burst damage, Splatlings has the sustained fire, and supressive fire. Also there's an obvious weakness to automatic weapons like N-Zaps because they can dish out similar damage at close range WITHOUT having to charge, but as soon as you find a golden spot, you can expect to see a Splatling just occupying it.

Well I learned from Koinku so now she can learn from me... Right?
