Beautiful and talented actress Diana joins Heroineburgh as of upcoming Episode 23 as Vendetta, the Italian spirit of vengeance. Wielding her deadly escrima sticks, she is prepared to launch into battle with her innate combat skills.

But how did this exciting and powerful character come to be? Read below to find out:

Veronica "Ronnie" Benedetti was a law student at the University of Pittsburgh. But she was also a mafia princess, whose father was the crime boss of Bloomfield. She tried to keep herself separated from his business, and focus on studying hard for her chosen career.

Ronnie's best friend was also her roommate, Angela Prosciutti, who was the daughter of one of her dad's main lieutenants. However, Ronnie was so magnetic that Angela wanted to become more than friends, and they began to experiment by kissing and making out in the privacy of their house. The physical relationship awakened the latent bisexuality in both of the young women, and they fell in love.

However, Don Benedetti's consigliere Carlo Graziani was disloyal, and plotted his downfall by eliminating his allies. The first move Carlo made was to rig a gas explosion which killed Angela Prosciutti and her entire family. That night, the dark-energy meteor explosion bombarded Pittsburgh with radiation, which affected Veronica's XX chromosomes as she was asleep and dreaming about Angela trying to escape a house fire.

Veronica woke up to discover a newspaper article which indeed confirmed that Angela had been killed, and she deduced that it could only have been the work of Carlo Graziani. At the same time, she also found out that the genetic alterations had granted her new powers: an innate knowledge of combat skills, coupled with superhuman stamina and augmented strength. Her muscular density had increased, sculpting her body into a formidable weapon of force.

Vowing vengeance on Carlo and his allies, Veronica fashioned a shiny red skintight catsuit with the letter "V" atop her left breast, and completed her look with a black mask, black opera gloves and black thigh-high boots. She liked the functionality of the costume which allowed her free movement in combat, but she also wanted to look and feel attractive while fighting criminals, in honor of her deceased friend Angela, who first unleashed womanly affection and sensual pleasure from within her.

As the new superheroine Vendetta, she pursued Carlo relentlessly, first surprising him in his hideout where he shot at her to escape, then fighting his superpowered bodyguards Earthmover and Clockcleaner, and finally going up against his main hireling, the supervillainess Pagliaccia, the clown princess of fear. In the meantime, Vendetta joined the nascent Pittsburgh Heroine League, becoming best friends with fellow members Devana, and developing a bit of a crush on the mighty amazon, Red Gina.

When Carlo came back out of hiding, Vendetta surprised him with Red Gina's help at a summit meeting of Mafia bosses. Red Gina and Vendetta were able to slaughter two of the mobsters, but once again, Carlo escaped in the melee. Right then and there, Vendetta vowed to never rest until she could track down Carlo and deliver his final retribution.

Now, each time that Veronica receives the League alert to spring into action against the criminal underworld, she reaches for the costume in the secret closet in her apartment to make her incredible transformation into the Italian bombshell, so thrilling to behold.

She slips the clingy red spandex over her brawny arms and curvaceous posterior, fastening the tight shiny outfit over the top of her shapely bosom. She zips her thigh-high boots tightly over her muscular legs, cinches her belt with a 'click' around her rock-hard abdominals, and pulls the soft black opera-length gloves all the way up past her elbows. With a final flourish, Veronica dons her concealing black mask, and flips her long and beautiful brown hair over the strap in the back.

Once again, she has become the alluring and mysterious Vendetta, the woman who cannot be stopped, the avenger without fear. Her confidence is extremely high that she can defeat her foes and find the path to sending Carlo to his grave, once and for all.
