As part of the Heroverse, later at night in another location, an evil Sorceress named Salem along with her underlings are walking within the Devil's Hand to find any interesting stuff, but they then soon unexpectedly encounter it's ruler who is waiting for Salem all along...

This must be the Devil's Hand...I'm sure we can find power here....

Because she read a book about the Devil's Hand where it has a powerful demon ruler named Lucifer who is named after satan himself who planned on world domination with eternal darkness, and Salem wants to meet him so she can ask for his help on getting rid of the heroes who protected this world.

Enough talk, keep looking.

but after she spoke, a voice can be heard.

???: Ah, Salem of Remnant. I've been waiting for you...

What? who's there?!

She looks around and when she looks the front, a familiar figure was in front of her as she gasped.

Welcome, Mrs. Salem...

How do you know my name? who are you?!

Forgive me for this, my name is Count Lucifer...the ruler of this place.

you're Lucifer? the name that was on the book I found about this place?

I thought he looked more menacing than what I've seen.

Lucifer then walks up to Mercury and grabs his chin with his cheeks as his face changes into his vampiric state.

Silly boy, you don't realize how much I can do to your body once it's broken and snapped. I am the Lord of the Devil's Hand and you'll learn to respect me!

Lucifer lets go of Mercury as he steps back as he freaks a bit.

You said you were expecting me to come here, why is that?

Because I've been wanting someone with the powers of darkness such as you to aid me on a new plan for eternal darkness on the world...

Your plan?

I need your help on eclipsing the sun and unleash the damned onto the Earth spread fear and chaos so we can take over as our new world of evil...but in order for us to do that, we need to open a gateway to Hell and locate some brilliant minds to assist us on this plan.

Salem thinks for a moment and then looks back at Lucifer.

So if we form together as a faction...you'll share the rule with me?

I promise you won't be disappointed, Mrs. Salem. So, do we have a deal?

Salem then slowly smiles evilly and shakes Lucifer's hand.

It's a deal then.

Bringing the dead evil ones back to Earth? might be fun to watch..
