“Tree Confessions”

I may look weird but thanks for noticing anyway.
I’m speaking on behalf of all the splendid yet taken for granted trees the world all over.

Since time immemorial our contributions for survival and comfort are innumerable.
Not to appear boastful but hey,
it’s really hard to imagine this gorgeous planet you call home without trees.
While some folks treat us with reverence, others only consider us as mere expedience.

Though we are capable of multiplying on our own,
we are totally defenseless if greedy hands come in our way.
We can’t blame them of course, nature has a unique way of teaching them a lesson (and often they learn it the hard way).

So the next time you see a tree, touch it and think about all the good things trees shared to humans. Bear in mind that they too are aware of your presence.
