Over the weekend I finally got around to playing Journey.

During the first third of the game I was enjoying myself, but not seeing what quite all the fuss was about. Then another player joined my game, instantly changing everything and making it magical. Being shown secrets and stuff while running through the game was extremely satisfying.
My 2nd playthrough improved on this as I had someone who knew the game quite well join me pretty much straight from the start. They showed me other stuff the other person hadn't, and afew easter egg stuff like tripping up and this strange mediate related glitch thing. It was such a joyful experience.
The next day I wanted to tidy up some collectibles and stumbled across some new players here and there. Everything felt like it had come full circle with me showing others stuff I had discovered or be shown earlier.

I'm not a huge fan of multiplayer in gaming, but I am rather fond of co-op related stuff, and this very much scratched that itch. I do feel I got lucky with playing it during a bank holiday weekend, but still, I am very pleased to have had such an interesting experience with this game.
On an art note for this piece, I went back and edited it later on in the day to fix some proportions with the scaling tool thingamajig. I'm glad I did as it looks a lot better lol. Also, I suppose one could say Journey refects my own art journey, more so during my August 30 day thing, hence why I felt like posting this on the 30th day.
