Koi raised an eyebrow, "Clearly for the uniform," their voice drawling with sarcasm, they tapped their pencil against their knee as they looked at the survey that was handed to them when they applied to join Team Zephyr, their lips pursed as they tried to put their reasonings into words, "What do you think Lena? You think telling them that I don't agree with the general morality of the world?"

Koi remembered all the ways people acted like they were above everything, like they could never do a bad thing in their life, as they would throw so many pokemon to the side once their use was up. They couldn't imagine it, as someone who fought tooth and nail for a pokemon to be stripped of it each time, never knowing where their pokemon ended up as their parents removed them from Koi's position. "I wonder how they're doing," Koi sighed, their brow furrowing as they thought more and more about their reasons, even Lena wasn't given the best past, she still wouldn't allow her trainer to brush her fur and Koi never knew what happened in the eevee's past, not that the Eevee could share or divulge even if she wanted to.

So many people didn't deserve their pokemon, as they got hurt and ended up where they were at; hurt, afraid, alone and feeling like they could never be enough. The same treatment the Blonde trainer was given from their parent's their entire life, "I want to do this, so I can stop friends from hurting," they whispered, "I just don't know how to say it in good words," the pencil made its way to Koi's mouth, chewing on it as they kept thinking. They just wanted the best for pokemon, they didn't feel like humans deserved the companions that were given to them with such ease. "I want to protect those who deserve it, not all people are worthy of the affection and love of pokemon," Koi pulled their pencil from their mouth as they started writing.

"I want to save them, I want to save those who don't have a voice, my entire life I was never allowed a pokemon, there was such high expectations for me to form to my parents whim and when they didn't like it, they took it out on me. All I wanted was a pokemon and every companion I made, was taken away, and I never knew where they went, I never knew if they got a good life or not, and I don't want anything like that to ever happen," they managed to write out.
