Samrose Reese is a newly-promoted detective of Aegis, the international law enforcement organization of the mythical world of Mylur. He sets off to complete his preliminary assignment: Find and retrieve another agent who's gone missing. He soon realizes that the path he's embarked for this assignment is the start of a globe-trotting adventure.

I've tried something on this page that some people have suggested to me before: Working with full-opacity linework. And I don't think it works with the other aspects of my style. I'm glad I tried it, so that I know not to do it again, because dear god this page is so messy. I've learned a lot about my own style though, so I don't regret it too much. But yeah; don't think bold linework is the move, chief. So this page came out subpar in my own view; artwork is pretty far from my target. Well, if nothing else, enjoy the dialogue.

I recognized the style change immediately! I do think it takes away from the amazing light and shading you tend to do so I agree that the old style is better/more painterly.
