yes im really bored and dead after today with everything dUE I MEAN WHO GIVES YOU SUPRISE ESSAY WRITTING TESTS DD8< THE MAN WITH THE NOSEEEokay so anyways yea all you pro people out there an slaughter me for my colouring because this is the 1st time i tried colouring fur OTL
i mean i tried using a tutorial but i got fed up with it because tutorials dont work for me :I they just confuse me and make things grosser.
ye i like my not-so-realistic cat style because its quick and easyhehehehheehe. jayfeathers my fav cat =w=

hehe it took a while to get the fur right...becasue i was tring to follow a tutorial but it didnt work and i kept messing up
so in the end i just gave up and did it the way i wanted to OTL

Wow I have to say, this is super amazing! You ask for what I think is a critique yet I struggle to find something to critique here. Yeah I can see that the style is a bit more on the sloppy style (not a bad thing fyi ;D just a notice. The vague appearances of your sketch lines are still there and the coloring is still rather smudgy giving it a 'sloppy' or less refined look). I'm not sure if this is what you're talking about when you want to improve on? But if it is then I'd just say that you'd have to focus more on detail, detail detail. Just take a smaller brush and paint the little hairs individually throughout the body to give less of a smudgy look and more of a fluffy, furry look (but man either style is so cool for it's own reasons ;A; ). You'd just follow the lines you already made with your larger brush. But because when you look at something you're eyes aren't focused on everything at once I'd just add detailed hairs to the more prominent areas, like the face and chest and leave the back of the neck/head the way it is to give it more depth.
But man, I love this drawing so much! Just the colors and the /eyes/ and FJladjsfka;djlfjaljdfjasdf. Awesome job! : D

ahaha i was going to add some more detail to the fur (as in more clumpy fur, because i cant draw individual strands well and i guess il ike a more, fast/messier style) but then i got lazy and didnt notice how gross the fur looked till after =7=
if you look closely at the "stars" or those random dots up there, you can see that they are completely messed up

I don't know, I really really like both styles for their own reasons. But yeah drawing the individual strands takes a lifetime >.>Β
