Description
Sulu notifies the Captain that the automatic deflectors have been activated, and that an unidentified object is approaching. Uhura walks over to the Engineering station and hands a data disk to the officer there. Suddenly, the Enterprise is buffeted by magnetic pulses. Everyone on the bridge is tossed around. Uhura manages to catch herself on the bridge railing. When the buffeting stops, Uhura's momentum carries her backwards and she lands on the Engineering console. As Kirk orders the phaser banks to return fire, Uhura collects herself and rushes back to her post.
