I just saw a 3D render of a Cell someone posted at CGTalk (it's on the frontpage) and was inspired to pick up my DB series
I like how this one turned out...
little off here and there, but that's fine.

Ah sorry hatte aus versehn die brushes von leventep gesaugt, weil er nen kommentar in dem sketchbook geschrieben hatte und das bild wohl Γ€hnlich aussah xD

Very nice way of working , but I can say that the character itself is completely ridiculous and infantile , from my point of view all the characters from Dragon Ball Z are anomalous.
Leaving to across my criticism ,i can tell you did a great job in terms of graphics , and and I can say you are a good drawer !

his hand anatomy is pretty weird, I think its just a small feeling pinky but I'm pretty suck at anatomy myself so wtf do I know
the pinks eye even if its for the sake of staying true to the original character design I think are too friendly and inviting for a villain character (I kind of hate the fact that I know who cell is... damn anime...) but anyway - I think making them a bit angwier could help

yeah, but of all the villains he really wasn't that typical bad guy who was running around with a super mean face all the time. You see him smile quite often actually... even if it's not meant to be in a friendly way...
he's a kinda cocky, arrogant character - that's how I see him.

well i think his eyes being slightly inviting sort of fit him. unlike most baddies who were so hell bent on destroying the world, he was sporty enough to build an arena for Earth to challenge him. he was really smug and cocky compared to a lot of other villians. not to mention when he hit this form he felt perfect, so the prideful smirk is sort a of signature for him

for the most part...hes probably the fav of all the series' bad guys. Cell brought out the best in the cast of good guys...pushing them to limits that were just awesome coming come from school everyday, lol
