the clash of steel echoed through the streets and alleyways of Gilneas city as the death knights fought eachother. Emily and Ralenar fought bravely against the man who cursed them to their fate as he cackled at his aggressors.

Modrid: "It seems your time with the ebon blade has made you weak! You call yourselves death knights when you can't even harness the true power of darkness!"

they fought for hours, neither side relenting in what seemed like eternal combat . . . until Modrid sensed the felling of one of his dread knights . . .

acting on instinct, Modrid pushed Emily and Ralenar back and ran for the ramparts, turning to mock the alliance death knights

Modrid: "You have not seen the last of me! Your pitiful Alliance shall soon serve a new master!"

he cackled as he jumped, Ralenar and Emily just missing him.

Before they could react, they were stunned by the site of Modrid's frostwyrm, which caught its master and took him towards the site of his fallen knight . . .

Emily: "Blast and damnation!"

Ralenar: "What do you think he ment by that "serving a new master" comment?"

Emily: "I do not know, but regardless, we should report this whole mess to command . . ."

Ralenar: "Agreed, I sense a storm brewing, and we're right in the middle of it . . ."

they looked towards the horizon one last time, both cursing Modrid's name under their breath, one way or another they would have their revenge.
