The Tab function(Downloads, New folder) is very good. Will it work liek the shortcuts in Browsers?( [Crtl] + 1, 2, 3 ect. ). For better usubility there must be a viusible indicator that you can do slitscreen based on the tabs if you have to drag and drop stuf from one folder to another
But Explore, Viewe ect. I would make it bit smaller.

For me it looks like the perfect redesign, I am assuming the folder colors change with accent color as well? and the titlebar too? That makes me wonder what this would look like with a white title bar.
Great job, its a shame that Microsoft can't make a great design like yours.
