2011 - Oracle was my favorite character, and when I found out not only her character, but also most of the work she's done as a focal point of DC's superhero community, was being retconned, I got really pissed.

I am all for diversity and representation in comics, so I never thought Babs NEEDED fixing. But even to concede that they'd make the character walk again, they shouldn't have put her back in the cowl. It might as well have stuffed her in a fridge.

So my own little private protest was to create a new, post-cure persona for Babs named "Access" which combined her fighting prowess and all her major hacker, world-scale espionage skills. An evolution, a step forward, not backward.

Over six months later and it's still a sore point for me.
