Happy late valentine's everyone!So, this is Tia Dalma and Davey Jones set from back in the day with those silly lockets. I figure she was the one 'as wild and untamable as the sea' as she has the locket, but watch it be like the goddess of the sea, and then I feel ridiculous for making this. Ah well, it turned out pretty cool, so I'm pleased.

When the movie started and Tia was first introduced I knew I'd gotten it right, but worried that she'd turn into some sort of ethereal goddess and then this pic wouldn't work. Lol.
Fortunately she just turned into a giant with a man's voice and then exploded into crabs.

I used to scoff at the Davy/Tia pairing, but a brilliantly written fanfic won me over completely. This is exactly how I picture those two together--I love how their posture/poses convey their character. And it's always nice to see people's ideas of what human Davy Jones might have looked like. Your version fits my mental picture almost exactly. Well done!

I simply love Tia Dalma, she really is one of my favorites in Pirates. The actress was recently up for a BAFA or British Academy Film Award. She is very talented.
You not only captured the essence of her but the mystery and cattiness. I really love it.
I would love to see you do the scene of her home with the people standing in the water. I think you would create something amazing.

A fitting valentine's picture! I like to think they had a relationship as well (Dude, matching lockets!) And it'll turn out she knew the woman and was holding onto the other locket or something.
