(Blatently stolen from "Saints in Art" by Rosa Giorgi, Trans. by T. M. Hartmann)
I'm not entirely sure why I started doing this. I think it started when I had to make a trip to The Cloisters and choose a medieval work to write about. I chose a polychrome of St. Michael. In order to get more information, I got a copy of "Saints in Art," which of course I started to read.
Then I thought, "Wouldn't it be fun to draw pictures of all the saints?"
Then my brain added, "Wouldn't it be fun to draw pictures of all the saints as /chibis/?"
So I did.
Only I have this horrible fear of using excessive Random Japanese, so I won't call them chibis. I just won't. You can call them that, though.
Anyways, this is the first one I drew. It's Saint Gabriel, one of the three Archangels.

You know something? I really like this. Its sweet without being obnoxiously so. And the fact that you actually researched the idea is neat too.
