Legends even to this day unfold in the Pokemon World. Ho-oh and Lugia became known like 500 years ago, Zekrom and Reshiram 2000 years ago, people have revered Arceus, the stories of the Regis..ect. So I consider Mewtwo and Genesect to be the legends of modern times.
