Gah, this picture is so sad...his placement reminds me of how he just appeared in the story and disappeared just as easily, after holding Ed's hand before he sent him through to his world. I like the turbulent colors, too, and you drew Alfons really, really well.

Alfons seems to be disappearing into the background, which is the very fate he most feared. The movie was so short he only got one chance - his argument with Edward - to voice his fear he would be forgotten after his death.

His pose conveys very well the helplessness and inadequacy he felt, knowing that Edward was longing for a different Al. Also, the fact that he is down at the bottom draws attention away from him, bringing back the theme that he was not the focus of Ed's wishes. The background evokes a bloodstain or mixed chemicals. Very nice work. Kudos to you!

Ahh, poor Alfons. ;_; I like the spatter across the piece, but I'm not too sure if the drab green works well with the rest of the colours. Also, Alfons doesn't really stand out, but that could be your intent, so... yeah.
