My initial concept sketch of Gali Nuva. After more or less completing Hahli Inika, I decided to move on to another subject, which you can see.

I sketched out a female figure, then converted it into Gali. I used ideas inspired by the version of water Toa from the film, as well as the earlier ideas I used for Hahli.

There are several errors in this, which I'll endeavour to correct in my next sketch. The most notable is her Kanohi Kaukau, or her mask. Unlike Hahli, I can't have an organic face and get away with it, if I'm going to remain partially faithful the original thing. So, I'll have to think of a way to make a mask, yet still leave and attractive, emotive "face". I'm thinking of perhaps giving her a "transformer face", but who knows what I'll settle with.

Note that this is just an initial concept, so I'm more than likely to change and modify it over the coming months.
