Hey everyone!

I’ve been wanting to give my four main OCs a visual update and a guide on their tattoos. So, I present their new character pinups! Below are also the details previously shared on the last character sheet, with some new additions!

JANAAN THE SHADOW CONTRACT

Age: 25

Height: 5'4

Affiliation: The Veiled Spiders Guild

Position: Shadow thief-for-hire

Skills: Shadow Step, Blinking (only outside of plain sight), Shadow Daggers, Dagger combat, Dagger throwing, Shadow Sense, Acrobatics, Dirty and improvised fighting (e.g. using surroundings as an advantage, using environmental props as weapons)

Likes: Betting, Sleeping, Snakes, Card games, Physical training (includes escape training), Flirting with her crush, Sweet drinks (particularly coconut milk and honey lemonade), her family

Dislikes: Losing, Stupidity, Flirting from creeps, Alcohol, Slavers (deeply hates with a passion)

Personality Quirks: Competitive, Independent, Brutally honest, Defensive

As children, Jaanan and her twin brother Cain were once slaves, made to serve a cruel merchant. However, after much planning, she and her brother had managed to slay their master. Before the two could escape and flee their master's mansion on the night of their hit, they were stopped by a group of shadow assassins, under the Veiled Spiders Guild, who were sent to kill the already slain merchant. The group's leader, "Shade," having caught the two young killers, grew intrigued. She offered the twins two options: to flee the scene and escape to an uncertain fate, or surrender themselves to the guild, where they would be taken in to a place to take shelter while having to "repay" Shade for stealing her kill. The two, with initial reluctance, decided on the latter offer.

While initially Janaan and Cain only worked for the guild's bar as paid servants, Shade grew attached to the twins and eventually decided to trained the two siblings on their off-hours. Given the Spider Guild's street education and training over the years, it became clear that Janaan and Cain were highly skilled in very different areas. Where Janaan excelled in melee combat, Cain was proficient as a marksman. While the two were decisive with their words, Janaan was intimidating where Cain was silver-tongued. Janaan stacked chips high in cards while Cain landed perfect scores at darts. This mostly playful sibling rivalry followed Janaan even to her work as she grew to become a skilled thief herself, earning contracts of her own as a guild "Spiderling"

While the two used to do work together on joint contracts, they eventually decided to work separately as part of their ongoing need to outdo one another. Cain formed a trio of his own, even managing to convince his sister's crush to join as part of a joke, much to Janaan's chagrin. Janaan sought to strike out with her own party. It wasn't long before she found one with a few unlikely characters that she still struggles to get used to. If she wants this thing to work, she'll have to learn to like them.
