Description So, you see, I want to learn how to create images with Inkskape vector graphics editor... This was the first time I used Inkskape, but I'm quite satisfied with the result. I wanted to draw my personal version of Weebl's Catface because I wanted to set it as the user picture for my profiles on different forums. I wanted to redraw the original catface because I could not find a clean version of this image on the web. By "clean" I mean without any captions or letters or other objects like watermarks on it. And now finally here it is. Perfect. Well, almost. I have noticed that my version of catface has rounder ears and it also has no body. You see, the original catface has this tiny thing on the bottom which is supposed to be his body, I think. I decided to drop that part because I don't need it for my purposes. For a userpic it is good as it is. And I also made the background darker.

I didn't copy the original image in any way, I built this one in Inkskape from ground. I only used the original image to look at it. I said earlier that I'm satisfied the result, but actually... It's more like I'm amazed by how I managed to draw something with Inkskape at all. At the beginning I thought that it is going to be a total failure because I had no idea how to use this application; I never used it before. I'm nothing like a professional art designer. I used some other software to draw vector images in the past, but it was long ago, and most those drawings I managed to create in the past were infinitely worse than this one
