Description
This is the a reference picture for my OC Martha, as she will appear in my new comic.
As described in the journal, the reference picture shows the character in their normal appearance and also contains a colour palette. The reason, why I set up several, different colours for the same item (e.g. Martha's hair) is my working technique: I start with a traditional pen and ink drawing of the outline. After scanning the drawin onto my computer, I continue with the digital postwork, for which I use GIMP. Here, I specifically use the gradient filling function of GIMP, thus I need to define the two overlapping colour. The third colour is the outline colour for that section.
